On the morning of July 13, 2015, Foreign Minister Wang Yi met in Vienna with Foreign Minister Mohammed Javad Zarif of Iran.

Wang Yi noted that China is willing to continue playing a constructive role in the last phase of the negotiation on the Iranian nuclear issue. It is the time for all parties to be resolute in concluding the negotiation and reaching an agreement, which is in line with the common interests of all parties.

Mohammed Javad Zarif noted that Iran appreciates the important role played by China in the negotiation on the Iranian nuclear issue and stands ready to maintain close communication and coordination with the Chinese side.
