On the morning of July 13, 2015, Foreign Minister Wang Yi met in Vienna with Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius of France.

Wang Yi said that after intense consultation by all parties, new progress was made in the final negotiation over a comprehensive agreement on the Iranian nuclear issue. All parties should seize the opportunity to conclude the negotiation and reach a comprehensive agreement as soon as possible.

Laurent Fabius noted that France appreciates the wisdom demonstrated and the constructive role played by China in the negotiation on the Iranian nuclear issue. France is willing to continue maintaining coordination in major international issues with the Chinese side.
